Linux worth more than Windows?
Saturday, September 2nd, 2006At work we are auctioning off some old laptops with the money going to the Ronald Mcdonald House. Both times we auctioned off 2 laptops with identical specs except one has Windows 2000 and the other has Ubuntu. Both times the Linux one went for about $20 to $30 more than the Windows ones. Neither of the people that bought them have ever used Linux but thought they would try it.
